17 year old Alabama rapper known as YBN Nahmir has blown up with his hit song “Rubbin Off The Paint.” This song, being his first music video, broke 5 million views on YouTube in the first week of its release. YBN has since released another single which got 1.8 million views in the first week. Proving that he’s here to stay in the rap game.

One verse in “Rubbin Off The Paint” has caused a bit of controversy though. The verse is: "Free Lil Tay, know he keep a ‘K. but he not Tay-K. I up the chop and let it blow him, watch this bitch heat his face. At first, it was speculated that he was dissing fellow rapper Tay-K who is currently being tried for murder as an adult at the age of 17. However, Nahmir said that he has no beef with Tay-K in an interview with Say Cheese TV."
